The Role

Reporting to our CEO, our Head of Internal Audit owns the internal audit process and is responsible for developing the audit plan, the performing of audits and the timely reporting of any identified financial, operational and compliance improvement opportunities. This role also facilitates the risk management process, manages and promotes our whistleblowing facility, as well as being responsible for producing audit reports, ensuring that actions are taken from report findings

• Degree level or equivalent relevant risk management professional qualification
• Recognised expert in their current role
• Strong communicator
• Ability to influence and constructively challenge stakeholders
• Proven ability at working with other professionals
• Proven organisational skills, reflecting an ability to prioritise and take ownership
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements, expectations and environment
• Maintains high standards of personal integrity whilst respecting diverse viewpoints
• Excellent report writing skills and ability to communicate technical positions clearly at senior management level
