The Role
As Head of Marketing, you will have overall responsibility for the Marketing function within Clermont Hotel Group. Working with your brand, F&B, partnership and digital teams, you will be able to demonstrate first class managerial and leadership skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt where necessary given the ever-changing nature of hospitality. Your key responsibility is to build, lead and execute clear Marketing plans for the group which allows us to meet & exceed our budgeted expectations and out-perform our competition. The role will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and involves working with multiple functions across the business.
What we look for
• 7+ years’ experience in senior marketing position with at least 3 + years as head of department • Previous hotel experience • Managing a team in a fast-paced environment • Self-motivated and self-confident • Ability to influence and motivate team to achieve targets • Must have the ability to prioritise and delegate work whilst also providing training and support • Be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of service • Must be standards driven and detail orientated • Be positive, enthusiastic, and professional, innovate • Must be focussed on delivering targets and budgets • Keep abreast of industry news / performance / relevant new initiatives • Microsoft Office knowledge • Strong coaching & communication skills, written and verbal • Flexible and adaptable to change • Attention to detail • Ability to work without constant supervision and organise self • Strong problem-solving skills • Track record of dealing with under-performing hotels and ability to multi-task, analyse and identify issues to get back on track
